Brian Gaskill (Rafe) has joined the cast of As the World Turns as BJ Green, an old classmate (and secret admirer) of Katie Frasier (Terri Columbino).

From Soap Opera Weekly: Brian Gaskill and his wife Tonya welcomed their first child, Alabama Zoe, on September 26, 2005. The baby girl weighed in at 5 lbs. 15 oz. Congratulations, Brian & Tonya! Welcome to the world, Baby Alabama!

Per Soap Opera Digest & Soap Opera Weekly, with Alicia Leigh Willis' (Courtney, GH) impending exit, several names have been bandied about as possible recasts, among them Erin Hershey Presley. She is considered the front-runner as ABC Daytime President Brian Frons has conceded that "Erin Hershey Presley would be a groovy Courtney." So a reunion for former PC co-stars Kelly Monaco (Sam, GH; ex-Livvie, PC) and Erin could happen!
